Nearly 85,000 bottles of Parodontax Active Gum Health Mouthwash are being recalled because some bottles may be missing or have incorrect lot numbers and/or expiration dates, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The recall includes 16.9-fluid-ounce, mint-flavored, alcohol-free mouthwash. The bottles were distributed by Haleon of Warren, New Jersey.

The product should include lot number 0665363 and an expiration date of 08/31/2027; however, this information may not appear on the bottles.

The mouthwash was distributed nationwide in stores and online. The FDA said 84,764 bottles are affected by the recall.

The FDA classified this recall as Class III, the lowest risk level, meaning it’s “not likely to cause adverse health consequences.”
