{"id":4112,"date":"2023-11-09T16:24:28","date_gmt":"2023-11-09T08:24:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/?p=4112"},"modified":"2023-11-09T16:24:34","modified_gmt":"2023-11-09T08:24:34","slug":"slovakian-govt-rejects-military-aid-package-for-ukraine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/?p=4112","title":{"rendered":"Slovakian gov&#8217;t rejects military aid package for Ukraine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Slovakian government on Wednesday rejected a 14th package of military aid for Ukraine worth 40.3 million euros (43.1 million U.S. dollars), local media has reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" src=\"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/\u56fe\u7247-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4113\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal for the aid was prepared by the former technocratic government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The News Agency of the Slovak Republic reported that the military aid would have included ammunition, missiles, mortars and mines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Slovakia has supported Ukraine with 13 packages of military aid worth 671 million euros since the beginning of the conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the new Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico and his Smer party have repeatedly said that the government will stop military aid to Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nevertheless, the government has announced that military aid to Ukraine provided on a commercial basis by companies operating in Slovakia and the Czech Republic has no influence on the position of the Slovak government, and will continue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Slovakian government on Wednesday rejected a 14th package of military aid for Ukraine worth 40.3 million euros (43.1 million U.S. dollars), local media has reported.
