{"id":17988,"date":"2026-10-28T14:25:17","date_gmt":"2026-10-28T06:25:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/?p=17988"},"modified":"2026-10-28T14:25:24","modified_gmt":"2026-10-28T06:25:24","slug":"trump-says-he-will-ban-the-term-artificial-intelligence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/?p=17988","title":{"rendered":"Trump says he will ban the term artificial intelligence"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"545\" height=\"370\" src=\"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/175.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17989\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/175.png 545w, https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/175-300x204.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 545px) 100vw, 545px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">President Trump said Tuesday that he was banning the term artificial intelligence \u201cin all relevant documents and everything else.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn short order, we will be officially BANNING the term, \u2018AI\/Artificial Intelligence,\u2019 in all relevant documents, and everything else, due to its inaccuracy,\u201d he wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump hit on The Wall Street Journal for using the term AI, rather super intelligence (SI), his preferred term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen will The Wall Street Journal start calling Artificial Intelligence (AI), a very bad and inaccurate name, SI (Super Intelligence), the name which virtually everyone else is using, or soon will be,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He signed an executive order in September directing the executive branch to use SI, instead of AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump said in a post earlier this month that the White House \u201cconsiders anyone that uses the term, \u2018Artificial Intelligence,\u2019 as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, \u2018Super Intelligence,\u2019 THE ENEMY!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the United Nations General Assembly last month, he told the group that the U.S. would be renaming AI to SI in documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe United States also totally rejects any attempt to construct a globality scheme to control for the artificial intelligence being spoken of so much now, hereinafter called super intelligence. Changing the name,\u201d Trump said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe use of the word artificial makes intelligence sound fake,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt is not fake. It\u2019s actually amazing. But we have to be careful. In fact, it is exactly the opposite of what it purports.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this month, Trump announced the creation of the \u201cSuper Intelligence Force\u201d to be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Super Intelligence Force is tasked with coordinating the effort of the Federal Government to ensure that America continues to lead the World in Super Intelligence, which many say is bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and the Internet, and will protect the interests, and improve the lives, of all Americans,\u201d the president wrote on Truth Social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group is directed to coordinate with the federal government\u2019s \u201cengagement with Consumers, Public Interest Groups, Religious Organizations, Critical Infrastructure Providers, and Super Intelligence Companies.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Trump said Tuesday that he was banning the term artificial intelligence \u201cin all relevant documents and everything else.\u201d \u201cIn short order, we will be officially BANNING the term, \u2018AI\/Artificial Intelligence,\u2019 in all relevant documents, and everything else, due to its inaccuracy,\u201d he wrote on Truth Social.
