I\u2019ll end up being a blocker. I\u2019ll block all of their bad stuff for two years,\u201d Trump said in an interview with Fox News\u2019s Laura Ingraham on \u201cThe Ingraham Angle.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt won\u2019t be the same, but I\u2019ll be a blocker. And probably be able to make deals with them,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked by Ingraham if he will campaign harder than he ever has before November\u2019s midterms, Trump said no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe hardest I ever campaigned [was] because I had to win,\u201d the president said. \u201cI took four months, no empty days, no empty hours. I made speeches all day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked if the upcoming midterms were just as important as his presidential bid because of their potential impact on his legacy, Trump said, \u201cIt\u2019s never as important.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m campaigning for other people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interview comes as Trump is galvanizing Republicans in Dallas, Texas, for the party\u2019s midterm convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump told reporters last week that he will spend the final 30 days before November\u2019s midterm elections campaigning for candidates in 35 competitive races. The president also said he would travel to Alaska to campaign for incumbent Sen.
