The pilot then said the plane had 14 passengers on board and less than three hours\u2019 worth of fuel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The C-37A Gulfstream aircraft took off at 12:09 p.m. EDT from Lawson Army Airfield near Columbus, Ga., and landed at DCA just a little more than 90 minutes later, according to data from ADS-B Exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mullin said Wednesday the pilots of the plane \u201cmade the single engine landing feel routine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DHS secretary wrote on X, \u201cNo panic, just straight professionalism. After we landed, the pilots told me that was a first for them! We could not have been in better hands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When reached for further comment, a DHS spokesperson referred The Hill to Mullin\u2019s post. The Hill has also reached out to the Coast Guard for comment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year, Democratic Reps.
