{"id":15965,"date":"2026-05-06T14:40:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T06:40:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/?p=15965"},"modified":"2026-05-06T14:40:33","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T06:40:33","slug":"popular-potato-chips-recalled-over-salmonella-concerns-fda","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tingchao.xyz\/?p=15965","title":{"rendered":"Popular potato chips recalled over salmonella concerns: FDA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Utz Quality Foods is issuing a voluntary recall for certain varieties of potato chips, including Zapp\u2019s and Dirty brands, that were sold nationwide, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the ingredients, dry milk powder, added to the chips may have been infected with salmonella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While batches of the chips have tested negative for salmonella, Utz has issued the recall \u201cout of an abundance of caution,\u201d basing it on a recall from the dry milk powder supplier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Salmonella may cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in those with weakened immune systems.
