It\u2019s against the law, it\u2019s a federal crime for you to vote in federal elections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd so, if you\u2019re an American citizen, you should be happy that ICE is there, because you\u2019re not going to have illegal aliens canceling out your vote,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cExactly,\u201d Bannon replied. \u201cPick \u2018em out of line starting today, and maybe the lines will get shorter.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday, ICE and Homeland Security Investigations officers began supporting Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers at multiple airports around the country. Amid the Department of Homeland Security shutdown, hundreds of TSA workers have quit the force, and call-out rates have risen significantly \u2014 leading to lengthy wait times at security checkpoints nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>White House border czar Tom Homan, who is overseeing the operation, said Monday on SiriusXM\u2019s \u201cCuomo Mornings\u201d that federal immigration officers will not directly assist with security screenings, but instead will relieve TSA officers from other areas, such as entry and exit lanes to security checkpoints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Trump told reporters Monday that the move was \u201cmy idea.\u201d He also told NewsNation\u2019s Hannah Brandt on Sunday that ICE officers will assist their TSA counterparts \u201cfor as long as it takes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bannon, who has called for ICE officers to have a presence at polling places, praised the surge further after speaking with Davis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re trained to, wait for it, check IDs,\u201d he said, referring to ICE officers. \u201cThat\u2019s why it\u2019s perfect training for the fall of 2026. This is why it\u2019s such a brilliant [move], this is another 5D chess move from President Trump.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s get ICE into the airports to help out [with] the lines and they can\u2019t work the [X-ray] machines. You know what they\u2019ll do, they\u2019ll just walk on down [and say], \u2018Hey, we\u2019re going to speed things through, can we check your IDs?\u2019 That\u2019s what\u2019s going to happen in the fall of \u201826 because folks, we\u2019re tired of having elections stolen.
