During Sunday night\u2019s red carpet, comedian Wanda Sykes<\/a> and actors Mark Ruffalo<\/a> and Natasha Lyonne<\/a> were seen wearing \u201cBe Good\u201d pins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Variety<\/a> asked Sykes about her \u201cBe Good\u201d pin, and she was pretty blunt about its meaning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is for the mother who was murdered by an ICE agent,\u201d Sykes said, referring to 37-year-old Minneapolis mother Renee Nicole Good, who was fatally shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent<\/a> on Wednesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really sad,\u201d Sykes continued. \u201cAnd you know, I know people are out marching and all today, and we need to speak up. We need to be out there and shut this rogue government down, because it\u2019s just awful what they\u2019re doing to people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Good\u2019s slaying, the Department of Homeland Security characterized her as\u00a0one of several \u201cviolent rioters\u201d<\/a>\u00a0who were blocking ICE officers during a targeted operation. DHS claimed that Good had \u201cweaponized her vehicle\u201d in an attempt to run over an officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, videos of the incident<\/a> indicated that Good was trying to reverse her car and flee the scene when the officer shot at her several times. As videos of the shooting appeared to disagree with the Trump administration\u2019s narrative of the incident, protests erupted across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now it seems celebs are also bringing the fight to the Golden Globes ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
