Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that she recommended a \u201cfull travel ban\u201d to President Trump during a Monday meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI just met with the President. I am recommending a full travel ban on every damn country that\u2019s been flooding our nation with killers, leeches, and entitlement junkies,\u201d Noem said Monday on the social platform X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur forefathers built this nation on blood, sweat, and the unyielding love of freedom\u2014not for foreign invaders to slaughter our heroes, suck dry our hard-earned tax dollars, or snatch the benefits owed to AMERICANS,\u201d she continued. \u201cWE DON\u2019T WANT THEM. NOT ONE.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A June memo from the White House restricted migration from 19 countries of concern: Afghanistan, Burundi, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Laos, Libya, Myanmar, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Turkmenistan, Venezuela and Yemen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
