Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) said Monday that personal attacks from President Trump \u201care just evidence of a guy who\u2019s still living in fifth grade\u201d after Trump recently commented on Pritzker\u2019s weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt takes one to know one on the weight question,\u201d Pritzker said Monday. \u201cAnd the president, of course, himself, is not in good shape. So, he ought to respond to that from me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI would say also that his personal attacks on me are just evidence of a guy who\u2019s still living in fifth grade,\u201d he added. \u201cHe\u2019s the kind of bully that throws invectives at people, because he knows that what he\u2019s saying is actually commentary on himself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump said Monday in the Oval Office that the Illinois governor \u201cought to spend more time in the gym, actually.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The president has a history of going after Pritzker for his weight. During a 2024 Ohio campaign rally, he accused Pritzker of being \u201ctoo busy eating\u201d to lead his state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe wants to eat all the time,\u201d the president said, with laughs in response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pritzker on Saturday accused Trump of \u201cabusing his power\u201d following a reported plan to send National Guard troops to Chicago, a move that would follow similar action in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
