But some on the internet want to know what President Trump was talking about with his \u201cbela\u201d post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump at 8:31 a.m. on Sunday posted the one-word message on his Truth Social media account. The word means beautiful in Italian if spelled with a double L, as \u201cbella.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps the president was looking at something, outside or on television, that sparked him to send the message. Whatever it was, it had a number of notables weighing in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump and California Gov. Gavin Newsom have been feuding, and the Democrat\u2019s press office took the occasion to argue it is winning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe broke Donald Trump,\u201d Newsom\u2019s press office wrote in response to the \u201cbela\u201d post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an earlier post, Newsom\u2019s office took more shots at Trump, seemingly inviting the president into an online fight with shots at his \u201ctiny hands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lincoln Project, the conservative group that opposes Trump and is active on social media, wrote that Trump had dropped the new \u201cCovfefe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trump, during his first term, bewildered much of the country back in 2017 with the original \u201ccovfefe\u201d post, which was likely a typo of some sort. Back then, the president\u2019s musings on Twitter, the social platform later renamed X, were watched by much of the country and world \u2014 perhaps more avidly than now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

George Conway, the frequent Trump critic, was also reminded of \u201ccovfefe,\u201d writing that \u201cbela\u201d was a \u201cblend\u201d of \u201ccovfefe.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.), responding to the post, wrote \u201cthat\u2019s what we call Comer,\u201d apparently a reference to the chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another account suggested a simple explanation. Trump was writing about Belarus, and got cut off with a typo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
