More than 24,000 power banks were sold in the U.S., and nearly 10,000 were sold in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe lithium-ion battery in the recalled power banks can overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers,\u201d the CPSC said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ESR received nine reports of the chargers \u201ccatching fire and exploding,\u201d which led it to issue the recall.
